Danang arrival – Drive to Hoian
Upon arrival, your tour guide and driver will pick you up from the airport to your hotel in Hoian.

This small town in the central of Vietnam is known for its exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site.

Hoian – Morning walking tour – Afternoon countryside tour
This morning, explore this charming old town of Hoian in a 2 hour walking tour of Hoian ancient town, including the Hoian market, Phuoc Kiem assembly halls and one of its ancient houses.
The majority of houses and buildings such as pagoda temples here are traditional architecture dating from the 17th to the 19th century, distributed along narrow streets. Hoi An is also the land of many imprints of mixed and Eastern and Western cultural intercourse with assembly hall, temples, and shrines bearing traces of Chinese or Japanese people located beside traditional townhouses of Vietnamese people and houses with French-architectural style. The UNESCO organization has recognized the Hoi An ancient urban town a world cultural heritage on December 4, 1999.

In the afternoon, experience the Hoian known only to locals starting with a visit to Tra Que herb village, a small farming community about 2 kilometers from Hoian, passing rice fields, local farmers working on their farms and lazy water buffalos lounging in the mud.
Continue today’s adventure with a bamboo basket boat tour in Cam Thanh’s water coconut plantation. Sample some tropical fruits and a cold drink to beat the heat.
Conclude the day with a sunset boat ride along Thu Bon river back to town. As the boat reaching the old town in the late afternoon, Hoian’s lanterns illuminate its streets and riverside, illustrating its name as the fairytale lantern town.

Danang city tour – evening boat ride – overnight in Danang
Today, bid your farewell to Hoian and leave for Danang, the most livable city in Vietnam.
After breakfast, your Local Expert and driver will pick you up from the hotel and drive to Danang. Upon arrival, visit Son Tra peninsula, a mountainous headland blanketed in forest with beautiful roads rolling around its contours, located roughly an hour drive in the outskirts of Danang overlooking the bay and the vast expanse of the ocean, towering 600 meters above sea level. Stop at the Linh Ung pagoda, a peaceful and tranquil destination that offers stunning views and a spiritual experience. The highlight of Linh Ung pagoda is undoubtedly the Lady Buddha statue. Standing at a height of 67 meters, it is the tallest Buddha statue in Vietnam

Next up, drive back to the city center and have lunch at a local restaurant. The day continues with a quick stop at the iconic Dragon Bridge for some photos. Finally visit Pink Church, Han Market and drive to the hotel and check in.

In the evening, continue to explore Danang as the city of bridges on an hour boat ride on the romantic Han River. See the city’s skyline and its top four bridges, including the rotating Han bridge, the Tran Thi Ly bridge and finally the Thuan Phuoc bridge – the longest suspension bridge in Vietnam. The highlight of the boat ride is watching the fire and water show performed from the iconic Dragon bridge.
