Bangkok – Arrival
Upon your arrival in Bangkok, deplane and follow signs to Immigration, located one level above baggage claim. Descend elevator to collect baggage. After clearing customs, proceed to the Arrival lobby and look for your sign. Our friendly representative will assist your family with luggage and help with your transfer to your comfortable hotel for check-in.

Visit to the Royal Grand Palace, the nation’s landmark and most praised royal monument in Thailand, with the enclosed and dazzling Wat Phra Kaew is a must. Wat Phra Kaew, also called the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is well known for its Golden Chedi, its Pantheon of the Chakri Kings and its Eight Colored Tower. In Thailand, it is considered by many to be a living example of a classical Siamese Court, being the former residence of the kings of Thailand. Then short walk to visit Wat Pho is regarded as the first center of public education and is sometimes called ‘Thailand’s first university’. Mural paintings, inscriptions, and statues found in the temple educated people on various subjects such as literature, warfare, archaeology, astronomy, geology, meditation and is considered to be home of Thai traditional massages. Lunch is at a local restaurant.
Experience an afternoon trip along the bustling Chao Phraya River and the quiet Thonburi Canals (Klong) in a long tail boat, in which you can enjoy scenes of Bangkok life. We will bring you to a more traditional and serene way of living around Thonburi residential areas, away from all the skyscrapers and modern buildings of Bangkok City Centre. We will also stop by the “Temple of Dawn” (officially named Wat Arun). An ancient temple dating back to the Ayutthaya period with the imposing Khmer-style prang or tower is 104 meters tall with steep decorate with the multihued floral mosaics from broken Chinese porcelain that was used as ballast by boats coming from China. Today the temple is one of Bangkok\'s most iconic structures, with most remarkable visual identities on the bank of Chao Phraya River.

Bangkok – Railway Market – Floating Market – Kanchanaburi

Early morning departure by road from Bangkok to the garden province of Samut Songhkhram in the Mae Klong River delta area. Experience the thrill of Maeklong Train Market folding up and the stalls being packed away in front of your eyes. Explore the market like a local and see the stalls stacked with fruits, vegetables and seafood. Then proceed to take a unique country market along the railway tracks where a variety of goods are sold and the train travels through bringing people to the market.  Next proceed to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, the most colourful floating market in the Kingdom. Enjoy the beautiful sights along the way and witness the day-to-day activities of the Thai people who live on the canals selling their fresh fruits and vegetables from the surrounding villagers’ farms. Take a short paddle boat ride through the canals to get the closure feeling of the local people. Free at leisure and enjoy of photo shooting.
Afterward drive to Kanchanaburi, local lunch will be served at the restaurant. You will visit the well-kept War Cemetery of Allied Prisoners, which contains the graves of an estimated 9,000 Allied soldiers. These soldiers died while building the bridge and the notorious \"Death Railway” which the Japanese had hoped to stretch all the way to the Burmese border. Next stop at the internationally famous Bridge Over The River Kwai, the black iron bridge from Java by the Japanese Army and reassembled under Japanese supervision by the allied prisoners of war labor as part of the railway linking Thailand to Myanmar.  This tour will bring you also closer to the past, with the visit to the JEATH Museum (the name “JEATH” is derived from Japan, England, America/Australia, Thailand and Holland), where the past has been created and relived with pictures and artefacts out of this time. End of the day, transfer to the hotel.
Evening, visit traditional evening market to explore the way of life. Enjoy local Thai food on your own.

Kanchanaburi – Train Ride On The Death Railway – Ayutthaya
Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
Transfer to the River Kwai Bridge station and take a train ride on the death railway to Tham Krasae Station, train depart at 11:02hr and arrive at 12:12hr. Then visit Krasae Cave was once where POWs rest as it\'s located right next to the Death Railway. It is now a popular spot for visitors who take a walk on the railway and would stop by to pray toward a Buddha image enshrined within the cave. Lunch is at a local restaurant.
 
After lunch, transfer approx. 3 hours to Ayutthaya and check-in at the hotel, free at leisure.

Ayutthaya – Historical Park – Bangkok – Fly To Chiang Rai
Drive to explorer Ayutthaya city & it’s ruin. To truly appreciate the history in Thailand, no holiday would be complete without a visit to Ayutthaya. This historic city was the second capital of the Kingdom of Siam, There are 34 kings to govern the territory until the end of it by an invasion of the nearby territory in 2310 B.E.   It results in Ayutthaya Empire has stayed long about 417 years and a prosperous international trading port, from 1350 until razed by the Burmese in 1767. The ruins of the old city now form the Ayutthaya Historical Park, an archaeological site that contains palaces, Buddhist temples, monasteries and statues.  Visit Ayutthaya Historical Park declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991. First stop at Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, is not just an important historical site, but it was also considered as the spiritual center for Thais. It is strategically located within the grounds of the Royal Palace. Next to visit at Wat Mahathat an unseen tourist attraction where you could see buddha head enshrine in the three. These temples also enshrine buddha lyric from the past 600 years. Stop for lunch at local restaurant

Afterward stop at the local market to discover \"Candy Cotton\" or we called \" Roti Saimai \" it’s become the province signature desert snack. As you will be amazed to see the product stalls available throughout Ayutthaya. This candy floss rolled sweets feature threads of crunchy sugar enshrouded in a steaming is wrapped in soft paper-thin, Pandan-flavoured crepes or in other different color.  The a bit salted taste of roti goes well with the sweet and soft cotton candy. You can see the how it made and enjoy to taste it.

Chiang Rai – Golden Triangle – Chiang Saen

Your trip departs in the morning to Golden Triangle where the Ruak River and the Mekong River meet forming the borders of three countries - Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos. From the viewpoint, the tourists will find the land that connects the three countries, surrounded by long and calm waterway. Then visit the House of Opium Museum a privately owned museum, it exhibits the history of the opium trade and consumption in the Golden Triangle, which was introduced by the hill tribe’s immigrants from southern China. The museum also displays the hill tribe’s lifestyle following a 12-month cycle, poppy cultivation, opium trade in the area, drug trafficking in the Golden Triangle region. Continue on to the ancient city of Chiang Sean, which stands on the steep banks of the Mae Khong River, opposite Laos. Magnificent temples and impressive ruins can be admired there. Visit Wat Phrathat Pha Ngao, it is assumed to have been an important temple in the Yonok Kingdom. There is a small bell-shaped chedi on a large rock and the Buddha image of Luangpho Pha Ngao that was discovered in 1976, and between 700-1,300 years old. On the top of the mountain behind the temple is the location of Phra Borommathat Phuttha Nimit Chedi, which is the point where it is possible to see the surrounding beautiful scenery. Return to the town and lunch is at a local restaurant.
Afternoon, drive to visit Wat Rong Suea Ten (Blue Temple), it is a Temple that was restored by Mr. Phutta Kabkaew or “Sala Nok”, a Local artist of Chiang Rai and a student of Achan Chalermchai Kositpipat. The temple is unusually beautiful with its unique applied arts by using a shade of blue and architectural beauty from a stucco artist.
 
Evening, explore the authentic side of Chiang Rai. You will pass the King Mengrai Monument, commemorating the king who founded Chiang Rai in 1262. Next is the Golden clock tower. Built in 2008 to honor His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the clock tower bears the signature style of Chalermchai Kositpipat, the artist who conceived and built the White Temple. Every evening at 20:00 and 21:00, the clock tower comes to life in a light-and-sound display.
Next is the famous night market of Chiang Rai. Here you can find restaurants and there is also a performance of classical dance (own expenses). Chiang Rai – City Temples – Chiang Mai

Your trip departs in the morning to visit Baan Dam Museum (Black House) is the work of Achan Thawan Duchanee, a National Artist in Visual Arts (Fine Arts). It consists of over 25 buildings of local Northern architecture and many applied local architecture buildings displaying folk art all painted black. These are the creations of local artisans from the past to the present. Each house is decorated with beautiful patterns of carved wood. They exhibit a large crocodile skin, snake skin, and different kinds of animal horns. The Baan Dam Museum is an art piece that creates imagination for the viewers in many perspectives and is also a collection of items used in daily life of the past. Then visit Wat Huay Pla Kang, important buildings include the Phop Chok Dhamma Chedi, a nine-storey chedi in a contemporary architectural style. The exterior chedi in a contemporary architectural style. The exterior is built in layers, and every floor is roofed in a Chinese style decorated with dragons surrounding it. The top of the chedi enshrines an inverted bell-shaped chedi in an authentic Thai style and the top tier is decorated in Burmese art. The interior is decorated in the European style. Inside the chedi, there is a replica of the Guan Im Bodhisattva carved with fragrant wood. Each floor in the chedi is enshrined with a standing Buddha image. The white Wihan: The way up is a Naga staircase decorated with stucco patterns. Inside is enshrined the white principal Buddha image, Guan Im Bodhisattva, which is the largest of its kind in Thailand is about 79 meters tall.
After lunch, drive south of the town for 30min to visit Wat Rong Khun (White Temple), designed and built by Achan Chalermchai Kositpipat, a famous Thai artist, built with strong determination that created unique and beautiful works of art that harmoniously combine the culture of Lanna, both stucco patterns decorated with mirrors and large wall paintings. The distinguishing feature of the temple is that the ubosot is decorated with a pattern of silver mirrors that shine in tiered tiers. The gable decorated with serpents with tusks proboscis looks very strange and interesting. The murals inside the Ubosot are made by the master\'s own paintings.
Continue travel to Chiang Mai (drive approx. 3hours) via Mae Kha Chan Hot Spring.

Just outside the old walled city center of Chiang Mai, the Wat Lok Molee is one of the city’s older temples. The temple that is also known as the Wat Lok Moli houses one of the largest and most impressive chedis in Chiang Mai.
 
After your experience with Chiang Mai local shopping, take a ride to the night market on Chang Puak Gate or North Gate is always busy and offers a great range of authentic Thai cuisine. Try the stewed pork leg from the famous vendor with the cowboy hat who’s had visits from the likes of Anthony Bourdain. Taste Bua Loi, or floating lotus, is a warm fresh coconut milk broth with teeny pandan-laced glutinous rice flour balls swimming around. Take a ride with Tuk-Tuk to see Chiang Mai nightlife around old city, visit 3-Kings monument, Wat Chedi Luang. Let\'s celebrate with your friends and family, spend the night and enjoy the beautiful Chiang Mai view with a glass of beverage at Xanadu Restaurant before return to the hotel in Chiang Mai town.

Chiang Mai – Doi Suthep Temple – Sankampaeng & City Temples

Visit the most sacred temple in the North of Thailand: Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep is the most sacred temple in Chiang Mai and contains a holy relic of the Lord Buddha. Tucked away in the mountains at an elevation of 1,056 meters (3,520 feet), the temple can be reached by the carved mythical Naga Serpent Staircase. The temple offers an exhilarating view of Chiang Mai city and its surrounding countryside. Drive to the famous home industries of Sankampaeng, where a variety of souvenirs and handicraft are made. Chiang Mai is the main centre for high quality handicrafts in Thailand. In the area of Sankampaeng, you can observe the full steps of the production of the famous Thai Silk as well as of the colourful paper umbrellas or the well-known celadon ceramics. You will be amazed when seeing some other craftsmen transforming teakwood into elegant furniture and delicate carvings using only very simple tools. Also fascinating to watch is the production of lacquer ware, when even eggshells are used to achieve unusual designs.  Finally, not to be missed is the variety of silverware produced in this area. There are numerous other thriving industries such as cotton and traditional local products’ industries, antiques from Myanmar and more. In other word, a perfect place for shopping and souvenirs.
Then, return drive back to city for lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon, visit Wat Phrasing, which is home of the beautiful Lai Kham chapel with its exquisite woodcarving and northern style murals. We will then go to Wat Chedi Luang and its enormous Pagoda (which was partially destroyed by an earthquake in 1545) before heading to Wat U-Mong This old temple (established in 1296) is now widely known as a meditation centre devout Buddhists from around the world visit to practice amid its peaceful atmosphere and minimalism structures. Around the area you also find numerous historical artifacts and architectures, such as Asok Pillar, which is devoted to an Indian King Asok Maharaja who was a devout Buddhist, and U-Mong, an ancient tunnel-like architecture built to create a near-silent ambience for better meditation practice.

ITINERARY
07.00AM:          Drive approximately 50 Mins North of Chiang Mai through a beautiful countryside, forest, and local farming areas.
08.00AM:          Arrive at Kanta Elephant Sanctuary. Walk through and learn about the elephants, change into traditional clothing and prepare fruits for our elephants.
09.00AM:          Meet the elephants. Feed, interact, and play with the elephants in a natural environment and learn about their behaviour and history. Take photos with the elephants.
10.00AM:          Walk with the elephants to a clean water pond where they will cool off themselves and you will have chance to observe them as well.
11.00AM:          Get some tea, coffee and season fruit then say goodbye to the elephants. Leave Baan Chang

13:30pm:         Riverside Cruise with Temple Tour. Next we cycle along the scenic Padad-Singhakam route, following the serene Ping River, we cross the Bridge (Kourmung) to two famous local community temples Wat Koh Klang, the unique temples are filled with beautiful artwork. It serves as an inspiration for the creativity of many of Thailand’s artists. You\'ll have the opportunity to see exquisite murals that narrate the lifestyle of the Ban Ko Klang community and the history of the temple in great detail.
14:45pm:         Thai Local Farming Experience. Continue your journey to the nearby vegetable plantations cultivated by local villagers, at this sustainable organic farm you can test your green finger knowledge and enjoy working and learning from local farmers and see the techniques they use daily to produce food to feed the village and if you wish you can join in with gardener activities like cultivating\\watering, picking and tasting some fresh fruit and Thai dessert!. Here we will also take a snack break at our lovely Garden, learn Thai culture and make your flower cone offering for temple, prepare your hand made flowers before worship at the temple after your break
15:30pm:         Visit Ancient Lanna dynasty of Wiang Kum Kam Exploration. Explore the captivating ruins of Wiang Kum Kam, the ancient underground empire of Lanna kingdom built by King Mang Rai where many archeological excavations and ruins of temples, Buddha images and old potteries have been discovered. Take in the awe-inspiring sights, including the monumental pagoda that has been meticulously restored, bearing influences from Thai and Burmese architectural styles.
17:00pm:         Return to Your Hotel. Timing is approximate and based on traffic\\guest cycle speed but this program can be changed or switched without prior notice depending on local conditions but if this happens, we will contact you and let you know.

  • Choose and make one curry paste, one curry, one soup, noodle dish and sweet dessert (total of 5 categories)
